A ferocious battle is unfolding between the workers’ Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the bosses’ Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
Whichever side they fight for, the U.S. ruling class and their pet politicians seem to keep eagerly lining up with various fascists.
Between the U.S. government, the monopolists, and the petty business tyrants, we are being attacked, stolen from, and degraded from every side.
The new city council was touted to be younger and more “ideologically progressive” than previous iterations. But the vote tally in favor of doubling funding for Cop City was 11-4, with eight of the eleven being Democrats. Once again, the fascist ideology of capitalism has held firm thanks to its stabilizing left wing, the Democratic Party.
In its cowardly decision, the Supreme Court guarantees water that flows into the reservation. If anyone were to redirect the water away from the reservation, then that’s just too bad.
The fascists intend to strike down what remains of the sovereignty of the Indian nations — the right-wing fascists openly, and the left-wing fascists by quiet assent.
The two wings of the fascist ruling class, the Democrats on the left and the Republicans on the right, have intensified their “lawfare” campaigns this week.
The “cogs” in the machine are not “just doing their jobs” any more than the agents of Hitler were merely following orders. This is no defense.
Child labor persists both in the brutal exploitation in modern colonies, where children labor for little or no pay to produce chocolate and cobalt, as well as within the great imperialist countries themselves.
