The following two statements were released, in Arabic, by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine on January 4, 2024 via their telegram channel. The English translations archived here were shared by the Resistance News Network.
Statement Regarding Yemen
These threats have not and will not intimidate the great Yemen.
The international statement on Yemen contains a covert threat of aggression against Yemen and includes a blatant distortion of facts.
The statement issued by 12 countries, led by the United States and including the Kingdom of Bahrain, regarding the legitimate responses of the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red Sea in response to the zionist genocide crimes in the Strip, is a statement that carries within it a covert threat of aggression against Yemen and includes a blatant distortion of facts and a manifestation of the double standards these countries deal with regarding regional issues.
The Front considers this hostile statement from countries with a colonial historical background or crumbling oppressive regimes, intended to send messages of reassurance to the criminal “israeli” entity to continue its massacres and genocidal crimes against the Palestinian people, while they themselves preserve the security of the occupation and protect its economy, which has been significantly damaged by the legitimate heroic Yemeni responses in preventing zionist ships or any other ships from passing in the Red Sea.
The Front clarified that this statement did not address the reasons for the Yemeni Armed Forces taking these steps, which did not target global navigation or the freedom of ships’ passage; rather, they wanted to send a cry of anger and a message of support to the Palestinian people who are subjected to a genocidal war and a suffocating siege by the criminal zionist enemy, with American and Western partnership and complicity of some Arab regimes. While these countries turn a blind eye to the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people, it would have been more appropriate for these countries to condemn the occupation’s crimes and the starvation war practiced against the Palestinian people, and to call for breaking the siege, not supporting the occupation and adopting biased positions with it.
The participation of the Bahraini regime in this statement has no value or impact. However, it reveals again the downfall of this weak, submissive, impotent, and zionized regime, and its conspiratorial stance on the issues of the [Arab and Islamic] nation, and at the heart of it, the Palestinian cause.
The Front concluded its statement, affirming that these threats have not and will not frighten the great Yemeni people and its Armed Forces or affect their standing alongside the Palestinian people. Yemen will always remain a constant thorn in the throats of the zionists, Western colonial countries, and the normalizing, reactionary Arab regimes.

الجبهة الشعبية: البيان الدولي حول اليمن يحمل في طياته تهديداً مُبطناً بالعدوان على اليمن ويتضمن تحريفاً سافراً للحقائق
أكدت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين أن البيان الصادر عن 12 دولة على رأسها الولايات المتحدة ومن بينها مملكة البحرين، حول ردود القوات المسلحة اليمنية المشروعة في البحر الأحمر رداً على جرائم الإبادة الصهيونية في القطاع”، بيان يحمل في طياته تهديداً مُبطناً بالعدوان على اليمن، ويتضمن تحريفاً سافراً للحقائق، وتجسيداً لازدواجية المعايير التي تتعامل معها هذه الدول مع قضايا المنطقة.
واعتبرت الجبهة أن هذا البيان المعادي من دول ذات خلفية استعمارية تاريخية أو أنظمة قمعية متهالكة، أراد توجيه رسائل اطمئنان للكيان الصهيوني المجرم بأن يواصل مجازره وجرائم إبادته بحق الشعب الفلسطيني، فيما يتولون هم الحفاظ على أمن الاحتلال وحماية اقتصاده الذي تضرر بشكلٍ كبير بفعل الرود اليمنية البطولية المشروعة بمنع السفن الصهيونية أو أية سفن أخرى من المرور في البحر الأحمر.
وأوضحت الجبهة أن هذا البيان لم يتطرق إلى أسباب قيام القوات المسلحة اليمنية بهذه الخطوات التي لم تستهدف الملاحة العالمية أو حرية مرور السفن؛ بل أرادت توجيه صرخة غضب ورسالة دعم إلى الشعب الفلسطيني الذي يتعرض لحرب إبادة وحصار خانق من قبل العدو الصهيوني المجرم بشراكةٍ أمريكية وغربية وتواطؤ من بعض الأنظمة العربية، وفي الوقت الذي تغض فيه هذه الدول البصر على جرائم الاحتلال بحق الشعب الفلسطيني، فقد كان من الأجدى من هذه الدول إدانة جرائم الاحتلال وحرب التجويع التي تُمارس بحق الشعب الفلسطيني، والدعوة لكسر الحصار، لا دعم الاحتلال وتبني مواقف منحازة معه.
وأكدت الجبهة أن مشاركة النظام البحريني في هذا البيان لا قيمة ولا تأثير له؛ ولكنه يكشف مجدداً على سقوط هذا النظام الضعيف والذليل والعاجز والمتصهين، وموقفه التآمري من قضايا الأمة وفي القلب منها القضية الفلسطينية.
وختمت الجبهة بيانها، مؤكدةً أن هذه التهديدات لم ولن تخيف الشعب اليمني العظيم وقواته المسلحة أو تؤثر في وقوفه إلى جانب الشعب الفلسطيني، وسيظل اليمن العظيم شوكة دائمة في حلق الصهاينة والدول الاستعمارية الغربية والأنظمة الرجعية العربية المُطبعّة.

Statement Regarding Iraq
The Popular Front condemns the American aggression on Iraq and calls for expanding strikes on American military bases.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the targeting of an Iraqi security headquarters by the international coalition led by the United States, considering it a blatant criminal aggression on Iraq and its sovereignty.
The United States of America and its allies, with this crime, confirm their responsibility for the destruction, ruin, and crimes committed in the region, as part of a policy of domination and control over the region and the plundering of its resources, and the protection of the security of the zionist entity.
The crime of targeting the Iraqi security headquarters, the assassination of leaders of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and the other American crimes in the region—especially in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen—will not be able to preserve the security of America and its military bases in the region, which will remain a target for the forces of resistance.
The Front concluded its statement by emphasizing the necessity of expanding strikes on American military bases in the region, as a natural response to American and international aggression, and their unlimited support and partnership with the zionist entity in its criminal aggression against the Palestinian people.

الجبهة الشعبية تدين العدوان الأمريكي على العراق وتدعو لتوسيع الضربات للقواعد العسكرية الأمريكية
أدانت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين استهداف التحالف الدولي بقيادة الولايات المتحدة أحد المقرات الأمنية العراقية، واعتبرته عدواناً إجرامياً سافراً على العراق وسيادتها.
وأكدت الجبهة أن الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ومن يتحالف معها يؤكدون بهذه الجريمة مسؤوليتهم عن الدمار والخراب والجرائم التي تُرتكب في المنطقة، في إطار سياسة الهيمنة والسيطرة على المنطقة ونهب خيراتها، وحماية أمن الكيان الصهيوني.
وشددت الجبهة أن جريمة استهداف المقر الأمني العراقي واغتيال قيادات من الحشد الشعبي والجرائم الأمريكية الأخرى في المنطقة خاصة سوريا والعراق واليمن لن تستطيع أن تحفظ أمن أمريكا وقواعدها العسكرية في المنطقة التي ستظل في مرمى الاستهداف من قبل قوى المقاومة.
وختمت الجبهة بيانها مؤكدة على ضرورة توسيع الضربات للقواعد العسكرية الأمريكية في المنطقة، كرد طبيعي على العدوان الأمريكي والدولي، ودعمه اللامحدود وشراكته مع الكيان الصهيوني في عدوانه الإجرامي على الشعب الفلسطيني.
