These two statements by the Popular Front, dated January 11 and January 12, 2024, address the beginning of the International Court of Justice’s genocide hearing on the colonial occupation and the U.S.-U.K. bombing against Yemen, which has, as of this archiving, killed five Yemenis and injured six. Commenting on the Sessions of the International Court of Justice
The International Community Faces a Real and Moral Test, and the Priority Now is to Impose Binding Measures to Stop the Genocide War.
International institutions face a real and moral test regarding the seriousness of dealing with South Africa’s request to prosecute the zionist occupation for committing genocide against the Palestinian people, in light of the International Court of Justice in The Hague holding its first session today.
The priority now is to impose emergency measures to compel the zionist occupation to stop its ongoing genocide war against our Palestinian people in the Strip, in accordance with Article Nine of the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.” The Front calls on Arab and friendly countries to take their responsibilities seriously in following up on this urgent issue, in victory for justice and loyalty to the blood of the Palestinian people.
The International Court of Justice has significant and ethical responsibilities in seriously following up on this invitation presented by South Africa, away from the policy of procrastination and stalling or succumbing to American and Western pressures. It is time for these institutions to abandon their negligence and complicity by taking effective decisions to stop the aggression, and to prosecute the leaders of the zionist occupation as war criminals before the International Criminal Court, and all who joined them, supported them, and gave them the green light to continue the genocide war against the Palestinian people.

تعقيباً على انعقاد جلسات محكمة العدل الدولية
الجبهة الشعبية: المجتمع الدولي أمام اختبار حقيقي وأخلاقي والأولوية الآن لفرض إجراءات ملزمة لوقف حرب الإبادة
أكّدت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين أن المؤسسات الدولية أمام اختبار حقيقي وأخلاقي في جدية التعامل مع طلب جنوب إفريقيا بمحاكمة الاحتلال الصهيوني بتهمة ارتكاب إبادة جماعية بحق الشعب الفلسطيني في ضوء انعقاد محكمة العدل الدولية في لاهاي اليوم أولى جلساتها الأولى.
وشدّدت الجبهة أن الأولوية الآن لفرض إجراءات طارئة لإلزام الاحتلال الصهيوني بوقف حرب إبادته المتواصلة بحق شعبنا الفلسطيني في القطاع بموجب المادة التاسعة من اتفاقية “تحريم جريمة الإبادة الجماعية”، داعيةً الدول العربية والصديقة إلى تَحمّل مسؤولياتها في المتابعة الجدية لهذه القضية العاجلة، انتصاراً للعدالة ووفاءً لدماء الشعب الفلسطيني.
وختمت الجبهة بيانها مؤكدةً على أن محكمة العدل الدولية أمامها مسؤوليات كبيرة وأخلاقية في المتابعة الجدية لهذه الدعوة المُقدمة من قبل جنوب إفريقيا، بعيداً عن سياسة التلكؤ والمماطلة أو الرضوخ للضغوط الأمريكية والغربية؛ فقد آن الأوان أن تتخلى هذه المؤسسات عن تقاعسها وتواطؤها عبر اتخاذ قرارات نافذة لوقف العدوان، ومحاكمة قادة الاحتلال الصهاينة كمجرمي الحرب أمام محكمة الجنايات الدولية، وكل من شاركهم وساندهم وأعطاهم الضوء الأخضر في مواصلة حرب الإبادة بحق الشعب الفلسطيني.

Condemnation of the Coalition Against Yemen
The Popular Front condemns in the strongest terms the aggression of the coalition of evil against Yemen and emphasizes the necessity of intensifying strikes against the American, Western, and zionist aggression.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine strongly condemned the aggression of the American, British, and zionist coalition of evil against Yemen early this Friday morning. It confirmed the failure of the objectives of this aggression, stating that the quick Yemeni response to American and British targets is proof of the lies propagated by the American and British propaganda machine, which claimed the success of these strikes in stopping Yemen’s capabilities.
The Front asserted that this aggression is not only against the Yemeni people but also against Palestine, the Arab nation, and all the free people of the world. Its malicious objectives are not to protect maritime navigation in the Red Sea but to protect the security of the zionist entity. This is evident from the significant and costly losses it suffers and the strong strikes it faces from the Palestinian and Arab resistance factions. The Front stressed the ability of the Yemeni army to confront the aggression and to stand firm, given its high fighting will and noble, honorable stance.
The Front saluted the original Yemeni stances and its valiant army for standing beside the Palestinian people since the beginning of the occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip. It affirmed that contemporary history will record in golden letters these honorable Yemeni stances that revived the hope in the capabilities of the Arab nation to support Palestine and strike the enemy.
The Front considered the Bahraini regime’s participation in this aggression against the Yemeni people as a blatant betrayal and a treacherous stab in the side of the Arab nation, confirming that this disgrace will continue to haunt this zionist, decrepit, and submissive regime, and one day it will pay the price for its betrayal of the nation and its causes.
The Front called on all the living forces in the region to take their natural place and engage in the trench of confrontation alongside Palestine, Yemen, and all the oppressed, and to intensify the strikes against the American, zionist, and Western aggression that aims to try to impose surrender on our peoples, and enforce dominance and normalization on the Arab nation, and liquidate the Palestinian cause.

الجبهة الشعبية تدين بأشد العبارات عدوان تحالف الشر على اليمن وتؤكد على ضرورة تشديد الضربات ضد العدوان الأميركي والغربي والصهيوني
أدانت الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين بأشد العبارات عدوان تحالف الشر الأميركي البريطاني الصهيوني على اليمن فجر اليوم الجمعة، مؤكدةً فشل أهداف هذا العدوان، وأن الرد اليمني السريع على أهداف أميركية وبريطانية دليل على أكاذيب ما روجت له ماكنة الدعاية الأميركية والبريطانية التي زعمت نجاح هذه الضربات في الحد من قدرات اليمن.
وأكدت الجبهة أن هذا العدوان ليس عدواناً على الشعب اليمي فقط؛ بل على فلسطين والأمة العربية وكل الأحرار في العالم، وأن أهدافه الخبيثة ليست حماية الملاحة البحرية في البحر الأحمر بل حماية أمن الكيان الصهيوني، في ظل الخسائر الكبيرة والباهظة التي يتكبدها والضربات القوية التي يتعرض لها من قبل فصائل المقاومة الفلسطينية والعربية، مشددة على قدرة الجيش اليمني في التصدي للعدوان والصمود لما يمتلك من إرادة قتالية عالية، ومن نُبل مواقفه المشرفة.
وحيت الجبهة المواقف اليمنية الأصيلة وجيشها الأبي ووقوفهم إلى جانب الشعب الفلسطيني منذ بدء عدوان الاحتلال على قطاع غزة، مؤكدةً أن التاريخ المعاصر سيسجل بحروفٍ من ذهب هذه المواقف اليمنية المشرفة التي أحيت الأمل بقدرات الأمة العربية على نصرة فلسطين، وضرب

واعتبرت الجبهة أن مشاركة النظام البحريني في هذا العدوان على الشعب اليمني يشكل خيانةً صريحة وطعنةً غادرة في خاصرة الأمة العربية، مؤكدةً أن هذا العار سيظل يلاحق هذا النظام المتصهين المتهالك الخانع ويوماً ما سيدفع ثمن خيانته للأمة وقضاياها.
ودعت الجبهة كافة القوى الحية في المنطقة إلى أخذ موقعها الطبيعي والانخراط في خندق المواجهة إلى جانب فلسطين واليمن وكل المقهورين، وتشديد الضربات ضد العدوان الأميركي والصهيوني الغربي الذي يهدف إلى محاولة فرض الاستسلام على شعوبنا، وفرض الهيمنة والتطبيع على الأمة العربية، وتصفية القضية الفلسطينية.
