Shame will continue to haunt those who participated in the meeting with the president of the zionist entity.
Despite the wounds and pain, the Popular Front congratulates our people and the Christians of the world on the occasion of Christmas.
Despite the wounds, pain, aggression and destruction, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine extends its congratulations to our people, our nation and the Christians of the world on the occasion of Christmas, praising the decision of our Palestinian people in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Nazareth and others to cancel their celebrations this year in condemnation of the aggression and their standing by their people in the sector that is subjected to an ongoing zionist war of genocide.
The Front affirms that the zionist enemy, in its continuous barbaric aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip, does not differentiate between one Palestinian and another, between a Christian and a Muslim, as all the Palestinian people are targeted, noting that the occupation’s continued aggression against the Gaza Strip continues to target Palestinian mosques, churches, and institutions. They have committed major massacres against Christian institutions, hospitals, health and cultural centers, which led to dozens of martyrs and wounded among our Christian people, most notably the National Baptist Hospital and the Orthodox Cultural Center, and targeting the ancient (Orthodox) Church of St. Porphyrius in Gaza City in an attempt to erase history and destroy Palestinian identity.
The Front praises the Arab positions, especially from our people and Christian clergy, rejecting the visit of the President of the zionist entity, Isaac Herzog, stressing that shame will continue to haunt those heads of Christian churches who participated in this meeting, which represents a cover for the occupation’s crimes against our people and a contribution to beautifying the face of the criminal occupation.
The Front appreciates the positions of the churches and religious figures who championed truth and justice throughout Africa, Asia and the world, denouncing the zionist aggression and participating in impassioned events and demonstrations in rejection of the aggression, calling on them to continue their efforts to stop the aggression, and to draw the world’s attention to the crimes of the zionist entity against the Palestinian people, and the fact Christian Zionism and the fascist forces associated with it participate in crimes and aggression and provide material and political support to the zionist entity to continue its aggression.
The Front concludes its statement by emphasizing that our Palestinian people, with all their political, societal and religious sects and tones, who are fighting and uniting together in the battle to defend their existence, land, identity and sanctities, will celebrate victory soon, and Palestine will return to what it was as a cultural and humanitarian center spreading light and dignity to the entire world.

العار سيظل يلاحق الذين شاركوا في اللقاء مع رئيس الكيان الصهيوني
رغم الجراح والآلام، الجبهة الشعبية تهنئ شعبنا ومسيحيي العالم بمناسبة حلول عيد الميلاد المجيد
رغم الجراح والآلام والعدوان والدمار تتقدم الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين لشعبنا وأمتنا ومسيحيي العالم بالتهنئة بمناسبة حلول عيد الميلاد المجيد، مشيدةً بقرار شعبنا الفلسطيني في بيت لحم والقدس والناصرة وغيرها بإلغاء احتفالاتهم هذا العام تنديداً بالعدوان ووقوفهم إلى جانب أبناء شعبهم في القطاع الذي يتعرض لحرب إبادة صهيونية متواصلة.
وأكدت الجبهة أن العدو الصهيوني في عدوانه الهمجي المتواصل على شعبنا في القطاع لم يفرق بين فلسطيني وآخر وبين مسيحي ومسلم، فكل الشعب الفلسطيني مستهدف، منوهةً أن عدوان الاحتلال المتواصل على القطاع واصل استهداف المساجد والكنائس والمؤسسات الفلسطينية؛ وارتكب مجازر كبيرة بحق مؤسسات ومشافي ومراكز صحية وثقافية مسيحية، أدت إلى ارتقاء عشرات الشهداء والجرحى من أبناء شعبنا المسيحيين، وعلى رأسها المشفى الأهلي المعمداني والمركز الثقافي الأرثذوكسي، واستهداف كنيسة القديس برفيريوس العريقة (الارثذوكسية) في مدينة غزة في محاولة لمحو التاريخ وتدمير الهوية الفلسطينية.
وأشادت الجبهة بالمواقف العروبية خاصة من أبناء شعبنا ورجال الدين المسيحيين الرافضة لزيارة رئيس الكيان الصهيوني “إسحاق هرتسوغ”، مؤكدةً أن العار سيظل يلاحق الذين شاركوا في هذا اللقاء من رؤساء الكنائس المسيحية، والذي يُمثل غطاءً لجرائم الاحتلال بحق شعبنا ومساهمةً في تجميل وجه الاحتلال المجرم.
وثمنت الجبهة مواقف الكنائس والشخصيات الدينية التي انتصرت للحق والعدل في عموم أنحاء أفريقيا وآسيا والعالم المنددة بالعدوان الصهيوني والتي شاركت في الفعاليات والتظاهرات الغاضبة رفضاً للعدوان، داعيةً إياها إلى مواصلة جهودها من أجل وقف العدوان، ولفت انتباه العالم إلى جرائم الكيان الصهيوني بحق الشعب الفلسطيني، وحقيقة المسيحية الصهيونية والقوى الفاشية المرتبطة معها المشاركة في الجرائم والعدوان والتي توفر الدعم المادي والسياسي للكيان الصهيوني لمواصلة عدوانه.
وختمت الجبهة بيانها بالتأكيد على أن شعبنا الفلسطيني بكل أطيافه وتلاوينه السياسية والمجتمعية والدينية والذي يخوض ويلتحم معاً في معركة الدفاع عن وجوده وأرضه وهويته ومقدساته سيحتفل بالنصر قريباً، وستعود فلسطين كما كانت مركزاً حضارياً وإنسانياً ينشر النور والكرامة إلى العالم أجمع.
