The Unity-Struggle-Unity Editorial Board’s whistleblower policy is to anonymize the names of the authors in order to protect them from harassment, especially in instances like this, where much of the letters have been made available to us by some letter-writers, but without the informed consent of all letter-writers.

Furthermore, the official political line of the All-Empire Workers’ League is that the Four Opportunists (DSA, CPUSA, FRSO, and PSL) and related tendencies are counterrevolutionary and counterinsurgent structures of colonial occupation. These organizations exist first and foremost for the purpose of laundering white supremacy through red branding, and should be treated with the same caution and hostility as any other enemy organization.

Let the reputations of the Four Opportunists stand for themselves among the oppressed masses and the people exploited by these “parties”. That these letters resonate with so many is what gives them power.

It’s the opinion of the Unity-Struggle-Unity Editorial Board that the ACP’s rank chauvinism and white nationalism are plainly apparent to even casual observers unfamiliar with Communism, and therefore there is little to nothing to be gained by attempting political struggle with them.

Political struggle, like the kind we’re presently directing at the Four Opportunists, is a strategic process with the ultimate aim of achieving greater unity between Marxists. Following years of investigation and attempted struggle, our analysis has brought us to the position that the Four Opportunists function to entrap and disengage potential Marxists from real political struggle, and therefore our task is to shake these radicals loose by exposing the chauvinism of these organizations and demonstrating the real path forward. On the other hand the ACP makes practically no effort to hide their chauvinism, and we therefore feel it is highly unlikely that any well-meaning comrades are actually present in the organization, so the ACP is unlikely to be a worthwhile target of our limited labor and resources.
