The “Align with the BDS movement” amendment was a watering down of R22 “For a Fighting Anti-Zionist DSA” which removed the Zionist expulsion section, and overrode the Pro-Palestinian organizing inside DSA or “No Appetite for Apartheid” (a broad program of canvassing food service to reject *all* Israeli goods) to institute a far weaker mere boycott of Israeli wine from the “occupied territory”. It is a good thing that amendment was killed.
